SEN Code of Practice

Partnership with Families

We meet on a regular basis to share children's achievements at a parents meeting and additional meetings may take place to review a child's development sooner if required. Children are supported individually in transitions to and from our setting, from room to room and from setting to your chosen school. Your child's key person will support you ad your child to ensure a smooth transition. When moving onto school we share our tracking information with teachers to ensure that they are ready to receive your child and are fully informed of any additional needs. A child with additional needs may require a statement of need (Educational, health Care Plan - EHCP) our SENDCo will send this off prior to starting school to ensure support is in place before your child starts their school journey.
